How can I apply for a job and which way does ep prefer?

You can apply via our online application form. Select a suitable job offer under 'Find a job'. You can then fill in the online application form (Apply online). Alternatively, you can send your complete application documents by e-mail to the contact person you see in the job advertisement. We prefer to receive applications via our online application form. E-mail applications will of course be considered and processed equally, and you will not be disadvantaged in any way.

I cannot find a suitable position. Can I submit a speculative application?

Yes, please use our speculative application form. It is important that you submit a full application, including details of your desired field of activity, your place of work, the start date, your salary expectations and your mobility or willingness to travel. With this information, we can specifically match possible vacancies with your qualifications and ideas and show you your individual opportunities at ep.

I am willing to work nationwide. Do I then have to apply to all locations?

No. Please apply for a job offer and state in your application that you are willing to work nationwide. You can find our locations and the corresponding contact persons under Locations.

I am interested in several job offers at one location. Do I have to submit more than one application?

No, please apply for a concrete position and state in your application that you are open for other positions.

How does online application work?

Click on 'Apply online' in the job advertisement. The online application form opens. Enter your contact details and upload your application documents - even without a cover letter. Please note that only files in .pdf, .jpg or .docx format with a maximum size of 10 MB can be uploaded. Please also state how you heard of us. You can add further comments if you wish. Then accept the Privacy Policy and click on 'Send application' to submit the application to us.

What format can I send my documents in? And what is the maximum size?

What should the application consist of?

To gain a first impression of you, we require a complete, detailed cv including a description of your positions to date and the references, certificates etc. which are relevant to the position. A cover letter may also be included.

Who should I address my application to?

Address your application to the employee responsible for the selected position. You can find your contact partner at the bottom of the job advert. This ep employee will be happy to answer any questions you may have about the position and the application process.

Who will my application be forwarded to if I apply for a job via the online form?

The employee responsible for the selected position will receive your application. You can find your contact partner at the bottom of the job advert.

Who will my application be forwarded to if send a speculative application?

In the case of speculative applications, we check the information in your application and then assign it to the appropriate branch.

Who can I contact if I have questions about the status of my application?

You can contact the contact partner for your position. This contact partner can be found at the bottom of the job advert. Alternatively, the employee who sent you an acknowledgement of receipt can tell you the status of your application.

Has ep received my application?

If you apply via our online form, you will receive a confirmation of receipt immediately after sending your application documents. If you apply by e-mail, you will receive confirmation of receipt within one working day. Also check your spam folder. If you have not received confirmation within this period, please contact the person responsible for your position.

Who can I contact if I cannot upload or send my application?

Please contact the person in charge of your position. This contact partner can be found at the bottom of the job advert.

What happens after I have sent my application?

You will receive confirmation of receipt within one day. Your application will then be carefully reviewed by the responsible contact person. If your qualifications meet the corresponding requirements profile, we shall invite you to a first interview. An initial meeting is often followed by a trial working day and getting to know future colleagues. If we fit together, we warmly welcome you to the ep team.

I cannot attend the interview. Who do I inform?

You will receive a written appointment confirmation with the details of your contact person. You are welcome to contact this person if you are prevented from attending on the agreed date.

Can I reapply after a rejection?

Of course you can reapply after a rejection.

What does the term (m/f/d) after the job title mean?

This term indicates that we fill our positions based on the talents, skills and motivation of the applicants and do not favour any particular gender. The abbreviations stand for m = male, f = female, d = diverse.

Can I withdraw my application?

Yes, you can withdraw your application. Simply send your contact person a request to delete the application or the personal data. They will send you a confirmation.

Can I correct an incorrect application?

Yes. Please reapply and indicate in the comments box that this is a correction of an existing application. We will then delete the incorrect application and continue working with the corrected version.

Are the advertised jobs up to date?

Yes. The job offers on our website are always up to date and vacant. Newly filled positions are immediately removed from the results list of our job search.

How does ep protect my data?

The protection of your data is our top priority. ep stores, collects, processes and uses the information and application documents entered, as well as all details and data given there, to the extent that they are required for the implementation and processing of the application procedure, automatically, mechanically and manually in accordance with the requirements of the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR-EU) and the Federal Data Protection Act (FDPA). There is a link to the full Privacy Policy at the end of the application form.

How long are my data stored for?

Only as long as you wish! We process your data exclusively in connection with your application and in accordance with the consent you have given and our data protection information. You have a right of revocation and can request the deletion of all your data at any time. You can submit an order for the deletion of your data to any contact person at ep. This consent is valid until you expressly revoke it by sending an e-mail to datenschutz(at)ep-group(dot)de.

In which areas can an internship at ep be completed?

Internships are offered at ep in commercial and technical areas. Please indicate your preferred area in your application. We will check the possibilities with the respective department. Just send an unsolicited application.

Is there a minimum duration for an internship?

No. It is only important that you state the desired duration of the internship in your application and whether it is a compulsory internship.

What training opportunities are available at ep?

Can I work at ep as a student trainee (m/f/d)?

Yes. You can search for vacancies for working students via 'Find a job'. These are mainly in recruiting and sales. Alternatively, you can send us an unsolicited application.

Can I complete a dual study programme at ep?

Yes. We offer four different Bachelor's dual study programmes:Business Administration Service Management with a focus on Sales (B.A.)Business Administration Service Management with a focus on Sales (B.A.)Mechanical Engineering (B.Eng.)Technical Documentation (B.A.)To find out which jobs are available for the coming semester, please see the results list under 'Find a job'. Can I study part-time at ep?

At ep, the topic of further education is a top priority. If you are planning to study part-time, you can mention this during the interview and discuss the possibilities with your future supervisor.

What documents and papers do I use to apply for an internship, training course or degree course?

Your application should include a CV and current certificates. A cover letter may also be included. Files in .pdf, .jpg or .docx format with a maximum size of 10 MB can be uploaded.

Is there a chance of being taken on by ep after my training or studies?

ep aims to take on all trainees and students. To this end, we sit down with our trainees and students at an early stage to discuss possible areas of deployment and opportunities for employment.

Is there an application deadline for training and studies?

No, we do not have a general application deadline. As long as a position is advertised on our website, you can apply for it. If you are interested, we recommend that you send your application as early as possible so that the position is not filled in the meantime.
